Your Vision and The Thief

The Lord has been teaching me and showing me from the things I’ve been going through;

about the calling on my life.

postThe thief does not come except to steal, to kill and to destroy . John 10:10a. When does the thief come? When you’re not looking!!! The thief is sneaky and quiet. He does’t want you to suspect a thing! So he sneaks up in when you’re not looking, you’ve got your guard down or you’re vulnerable.

The thief wants to steal your vision. You know the one the Lord has given to you. Maybe you’ve never shared it with anyone, but you know what it is. You’ve probably had someone come up to you and even say something to you, encouraging you, all the while wondering, how could this person possibly know.

With the unexpected death of our oldest son, I laid down my dreams; my life. I wished and wondered many times why him and not me, but while that may be normal or even part of the grieving process-that never does any good….back to my topic…….

One day the Pastor’s wife of our church asked me to help her and another lady write a curriculum for the worship ministry for our church. I thought to myself, she doesn’t know my music or ministry background. Hmm….I was amused, elated and baffled! It had been a long time since  I had been involved in worship ministry. And  oh my, this is where my heart is.

The day for our meeting and planning arrives and I have fallen into a million pieces!!! I’m crying and praying, Lord you have got to help me!  It was through this I felt like the Lord put his finger right on this: When my son died this this part of ministry of my life died too. I laid it down at the same time and walked away. You see, Justin, my son, was involved in worship at a church while I was leading worship at another church. One week prior to his death I felt an urgency to lay it down. Something I’ve never felt before. The following week my husband, family and I were with Justin at his church worshiping with him as he played on the drums. Little did we know this would be our last Sunday of worshiping together.

So even though the enemy has stolen from me, the Lord has restored my vision of worship ministry. All because the Pastor’s wife said “the Lord highlighted you.”  God is faithful. Don’t give up!

He wants to restore your dreams.

Blessings to you as you live your life on purpose!

A NEW BIRTHING IS TAKING PLACE

blue and black butterfly on green leaves    I dreamed that Marie St. Claire was going to do a makeover. My friend Victoria                                                                                            was watching her…her client was sitting in the chair. I was sitting to the side of the lady getting the makeover.  As Victoria started, the lady’s hair was very long. When the brush slipped and hit the floor, I picked it up and accidentally bumped the lady as I handed it back to Victoria. The lady was very rude! I apologize to her for bumping into her.The lady wants her handbag highlighted for something she’s doing. So the makeover gives her a shorter hairstyle and sideburns, and a beard! Immediately, I hear the word “Authority”.The lady hates it! She gripes and complains until every bit of it is undone! I speak up and tell her…just because you have money doesn’t give you the right to be so rude and treat people the way you do.Her beard is now gone and her hair is shaved. This dream is telling us that there’s a makeover coming to the church, but there is a religious spirit that will cause a rebellion among God’s people. This will happen because this move of God will look different! It will feel different! It will be a place where the people of God will know their authority but there will be those who refuse to accept it because it looks funny or it looks awkward! But it will be God’s doing.  The shaving of the woman’s head represents the glory leaving the church that does not accept the new move of God in this new era.Lord, help us recognize you and not dismiss your new move.

I believe the 40 days of quarantine that we’re coming out of, is a shedding of the old ways. Like a caterpillar sheds it’s chrysalis before it becomes a beautiful butterfly. There’s a new birthing taking place. We can choose to change and move into the new position the Lord has for us, or we can choose to go back to the old. The old is familiar and comfortable but you don’t grow there. In the new there is a stretching with the Lord and you’ll find that you grow as you lean into him. We have all been stretched through this quarantine in many different ways. Let’s continue to trust God in his leading. He will lead us with his love.

Beloved let us love one another. 1 John 4:7

Blessings to you and your family as we move into this new era,

The Pause Before The Great Awakening

img_1980I asked the Lord for fresh manna today and he said, “I’m releasing keys right now into the Kingdom. Pick up your pen and write what I give you.”

” This is a New Time. This is a New Era. This is a New Beginning.  In this Great Time of Pause that has come upon the world I am releasing New Keys for the Kingdom. There will be a Newness in My Houses of Worship. There will be a New Sound coming out of Heaven.”

“For I am doing something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:19)

Even now during this time of great pause I am preparing my people, making ready their hearts for as they draw near to me, I will draw nearer to them. For I am the Good Shepherd. My sheep hear My voice. My sheep know me and I know them. There are other sheep that are mine also, but they haven’t come into the fold yet. These sheep will hear My voice and come in. (John 10)

This Time of Great Pause is just before the Great Awakening. There is a tsunami about to hit the church and it is a world-wide tidal wave of souls that are coming into the Kingdom.

It is my prayer that we, the church are ready for the harvest.

Blessings,

“The Pathway”

I love being in Lord’s presence. I love how he wants to take all of our burdens.

He wants to speak into our lives, if we will only listen.

This morning I decided to ask him about some things that I’ve had questions about, and this is his response.

Oh, it’s not just for me!

There are many of you asking the same questions.

The Lord spoke to me and said, ” I am leading you. I am guiding your path. I will make it clear. I will make it plain. You will see your path marked clearly before you.

Trust Me! Trust Me! I am taking you deeper. You will not be disappointed as I guide you along the way into the new. As you step into the new, there will be a new boldness for you.

I see all, I know all, and I am working behind the scenes to accomplish My will and purposes in your life. Let all worry go, hold onto it no longer, and watch My hand move.”

Psalm 32:8-9 (The Passion Translation)

I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway of your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!”

Blessings on your journey,

Donna

It’s Time For The Dreamers To Arise!

There are many, who can identify with Joseph, and it’s time for you to arise!

Joseph had a dream and he was so excited! He couldn’t wait to tell his brothers. When he told them, they hated him more. Genesis 37:5-11 tells about Joseph’s dream. Now, Joseph was seventeen when he had his dream, a dream that would forever change his life.

His brother’s hated him so much, they sold him in to slavery and told their dad that Joseph was dead.

Along with being sold into slavery, Potiphar’s wife accuses Joseph of wrong doing. Now, Joseph finds himself in prison! I can just imagine the thoughts Joseph must have had sitting in that prison. Wondering how could this have happened to him? He had this big dream, would it really come true?

You know the story, he interprets a dream for the Baker and the Cupbearer. He tells the Cupbearer to tell Pharoah about him, but the Cupbearer forgets.

I’m sure at this point he felt like his hopes were crushed. But then Pharoah has a dream and he needs an interpreter. The Cupbearer remembers Joseph and tells Pharoah.

Pharoah sends for Joseph, and Joseph interprets the dream for him. Can’t you see Joseph getting his hopes up? Finally, after all of the years that have passed by.

You can read about Pharoah’s dream in Genesis 41.

Now Joseph has found favor with Pharoah, and he makes him second in command of all of Egypt….now, Joseph is beginning to see that his dream is coming into reality.

I’m sure many of you can identify with Joseph in some way. There were many, many years that passed by before Joseph saw his dream come true, thirteen to be exact. God had a plan for Joseph and showed him in a dream, but it didn’t come to pass over night. It wasn’t until after Joseph was married and had two children, did he see it fulfilled.

So, Dreamer’s Arise! Get your hopes up! It’s Time! It’s Time!

Yes, there have been many years that have passed by for you, but the Lord has been working behind the scenes. He’s getting things in order, and people are moving into the right places.

Isaiah 60:1 (NIV) “Arise shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.”

There are many who have given up, but I hear the Lord saying, “Dream Again. It’s Time! It’s Time! It’s time for the dreamer’s to arise!”

Get ready! Prepare yourselves. Get your things in order, because the Lord is moving. He’s opening doors, and bringing new opportunities to you.

Arise and enjoy the favor of the Lord.

Blessings to you as you dream with God.

Hearing the Voice of God

Sometimes I just have to laugh when I realize all of the ways God speaks to me. He has such a sense of humor!

At the beginning of this year, he said, “Donna, I want you to be more childlike.”

Perhaps he is saying that to you too!

He said this year will be a year of wonder and amusement. Well, he wasn’t kidding! I truly am amazed and this year is only half over, or I should say, it just began 5 months ago.

One of the ways He speaks to me is through nature.

I was sitting at my piano, playing and worshiping the Lord in song, and as I was playing prophetically, one of our peacocks came to the window, flew up on a bird feeder and perched there. It was like he was encouraging me. Never before had, or sense has this happened.

My granddaughter named him Spirit, and I believe he was living up to his name.

At the time, I needed encouragement and I believe this was God’s way of encouraging me that day.

I’m writing this to encourage you to pay attention…..God is speaking to you. Are you listening?

Another example is just today, I have been prayerfully considering going to Arkansas. I have been asked to speak at a woman’s retreat. Tonight I was talking with my husband about it, and he was fine. He even suggested that I fly out there.

On my way home from town, I couldn’t help but notice that every red light was green! Every traffic light!! I felt the Lord confirming this trip.

I honestly cannot remember getting so many green lights on my home. It just doesn’t happen!

This might seem silly to some people, but God is speaking.

Are you listening?

Season of Promotion

I am your compass and I am making your way straight. You are in a season of promotion! From the beginning of this year, your promotion did begin. In every stream, you are being promoted.

I am making your path straight and I am charting your course. These streams are coming together and will flow freely. Continue to walk, for your steps are steady and sure-just like the hinds feet of a deer. For there is no obstacle you cannot cross, because I will make a way for you. “For you can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall.”

Psalms 18:29 ” With you as my strength I can crush an enemy horde, advancing through every stronghold that stands in front of me.”  (TPT)

Psalms 18:29 (NIV) “With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.”
